Spring Browns

Started fishing the Missouri river this morning just above Craig, MT. It was about 25 degrees outside and I had to keep nocking the ice out of my guides so I could cast.
I caught 2 browns on the mighty Mo. One was just shy of 20" and the other was around 12". Didn't see any other fisherman until it warmed up around 11 am.

I left the Missouri around noon to fish the Sun River. Here is a pic of the Sun River with Sawtooth in the back drop.

This brown I caught today measured right at 20". Real strong, stout fish and one helluva fight for early April.

Here is a pic of my 4th and last fish of the day. This one measured in around 16". Saw him take the fly in the crystal clear cold water...pretty cool.
